Mosman House
Client Brief:
This stunning Mosman home is filled with traditional features, including lead lighting and deep timber flooring. The clients wanted to maintain its formal nature, yet upscale it with contemporary features and integrations. The house is no stranger to entertaining and catering for the needs of a large family. All cosmetic choices needed to be a reflection of this.

Design Features:
The Artedomus Elba White benchtop is a fabulous solution for these entertaining requirements. Not only does it look classic and elegant, but the durability of marble is incomparable to other surfaces. The kitchen is based around an island bench design with state-of-the-art features dappled around it.
The Franke Bolero double sink and Franke Eos Neo pull-out tap are a must in terms of practicality. Adjacent to the sink is the Miele semi-integrated dishwasher, with its location situated for ease of use but still fitting in seamlessly. A Liebherr integrated fridge freezer was installed to keep the kitchen in line with a classic look and feel. These seamless integrations allow the cabinets’ duck-egg blue colours to shine, free from the clutter and overbearing sense of essential appliances. Being a busy kitchen, the clients see the useful need for a Wolf oven and a Wolf steam oven. Along with this, a Steel upright cooker and Qasair rangehood were installed.
Due to the vast size of the property, the clients took advantage of the space by creating a separate kitchenette. Thus, additional room was created that also acts as a concealed space for family members when needed. Whilst remaining highly functional, this kitchenette is filled with modern appliances.
Tying this together with the primary kitchen, the Talostone Carrara Gioia benchtop and splashback are used to keep a continuous flow of style throughout. The Franke Bolero single sink and Franke Eos Neo mixer tap mirror the main kitchen’s features. To disguise appliances, a Miele built-in oven, Miele combi microwave oven and Miele semi-integrated dishwasher are used to accommodate the smaller space. The clients requested a Miele wine storage cabinet for both storage purposes and easy access when entertaining.
The custom laundry is located just off the kitchenette, fitted with two Bosch washers and two Bosch dryers to accommodate the overwhelming needs of everyone in the family. A Smartstone Armani Classico benchtop and splashback were installed to ensure durability and resilience. A Brodware Winslow tap and Shaws Farnworth double sink accompany the double washer and dryer.
For the fresh bathroom renovation, the clients chose the classic Caeserstone Vivid White, which compliments the Brodware Neu England basin set and Villeroy & Boch basin.
